Paddock Setup Guidelines

Participants,

As the weekend of racing approaches, we would like to clarify the pre-race setup policies in the paddock. Please help us create a safe and fair environment for all, members and non-members.

Please adhere to the following guidelines:

1) Member guests may not setup in the paddock before the official load in time. If the guest is at the track before load-in and wants to setup, they must exit the track (with their equipment) at 5:00 PM and get in the load-in line outside the gate. Members may not hold paddock spots for non-members.

2) Members that have rented a canopy spot, pit-side parking spot, or trackside garage for the race event may setup on Wednesday or Thursday before official load-in.

3) Members are not allowed to setup on the skid pad before official load-in begins.

4) Members/Participants that setup in the general paddock area may be asked to rearrange or move their setup either before or during the official load-in time in order to maximize paddock space for all competitors.

MSR Houston and the race sanctioning body holding the event have authority to request a setup move or adjustment.

5) Overnight DRY camping is allowed for this event. Use of personal generators are okay.

Early drop off for most events begins the night before at 5p.m. All participants must stage in the right lane prior to 5p.m. there will be no early entry.

NOTICE: FUEL AND TIRE DISPOSAL POLICY

You may only dispose of fuel barrels/cans, tires and oil onsite at MSR Houston at designated disposal areas after you have paid the disposal fees in the MSR Houston office between 9a-5p. Cost for disposal is as follows:

Fuel barrel/cans: $75 each

Tires: $5 each

Used Oil: No Charge

Abandoned fuel barrels/cans and tires will be charged at double the normal disposal rates. If the abandoned items can be tracked back to you, your MotorsportReg account will be charged. If ownership of the items cannot be determined, we will pass the charge along to the event organizer.
